Role Description
The Owner is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Malabe, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business.
Day-to-day tasks include managing operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met.
The role involves setting business goals, monitoring financial performance, and making decisions on budgeting, pricing, and resource allocation.
The Owner will coordinate with suppliers and partners, maintain compliance with local regulations, and handle key administrative tasks such as contracts and documentation.
This position also requires developing marketing and sales initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the organization’s values.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business management, entrepreneurship, or leading a small to mid-sized organization.
- Strong skills in operations oversight, including planning, organizing, and optimizing daily workflows.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting to support sustainable business growth.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to make data-informed decisions, solve problems quickly, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with sales or marketing activities, including customer outreach, local promotions, and brand-building, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations, business permits, and compliance requirements in Malabe or the surrounding area.
- Post-secondary education in business, management, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent practical experience is also valued.
