Role Description

Our client a renonwed managed security services provider is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer (secondment) for a full-time on-site position based in Riyadh, KSA.

The Cyber Security Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing, and managing security measures to protect the company’s systems, networks, and data against cyber threats.

Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing and managing security controls, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively address security risks and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security to develop, implement, and maintain secure environments 3-5 years.
  • Proficiency in Application Security and Network Security to ensure safe software development and optimized network protection.
  • Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments, identifying threats, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex security challenges systematically.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in addition to Arabic is a plus.
