Role Overview
The Cyber Security Engineer will operate and secure Fortinet Mail Gateway, FortiSandbox, Fortinet WAF, and FireMon environments.
The role covers email security, malware analysis, web application protection, firewall policy governance, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
FortiMail Operations
- Monitor FortiMail service health, mail flow, performance, availability, and security events.
- Maintain anti-spam, anti-malware, anti-phishing, and email filtering policies.
- Resolve mail delivery, queue, connectivity, and false-positive or false-negative issues.
- Execute software upgrades, firmware updates, and hotfix installations.
FortiSandbox Operations
- Configure malware analysis profiles, IOC generation, quarantine actions, notifications, and file submission policies.
- Maintain FortiSandbox integrations with FortiMail.
- Monitor malware analysis and investigate suspicious or malicious files.
- Execute firmware upgrades, hotfix installations, and signature updates.
