Cyber Security Advisor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls and standards platforms.
• Develop and oversee information security policies, standards, procedures, and implementation guidelines for clients.
• Lead information security audits for clients and their suppliers to identify inadequate or missing controls.
• Lead business resilience programs covering IT disaster recovery, business continuity, and crisis management.
• Lead compliance assessments against information security policies, international standards, and local cybersecurity regulations.
• Lead risk management engagements to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed appropriately.
• Provide information security professional services, including CSOC consultation.
• Lead information security training and awareness programs.
• Maintain awareness of contemporary information security practices, procedures, and methods.
• Provide information security guidance to directors, managers, and staff.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering is required.
• An MSc in Information Security is highly valued.
• Security certifications such as cloud-related certifications, CISSP, ISO 27001 LA, CISM, or CISA are highly valued.
• At least three years of relevant consulting experience is required, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required; Arabic is a plus.
• A committed, self-motivated, open-minded, result-driven, and inspiring personality is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize a complex workload and work well under pressure is required.
• Ability to travel for onsite engagements in Europe and the Middle East is required.
