Responsibilities

• Work with red-team experts to evaluate IT environments, security goals, vulnerabilities, objectives, and requirements.
• Test cybersecurity operations using real adversary behavior and emulation plans.
• Evaluate detection mechanisms, analytics, and mitigations and identify defensive gaps.
• Improve systems and processes to address gaps in visibility, data, tools, and procedures.
• Develop automation approaches that reduce cost and increase operational efficiency.
• Solve cyber problems through operations, data-driven analytics, and development.
• Apply research, frameworks, and best practices to improve sponsor defensive posture.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately seven years of experience as an infrastructure operator.
• Proficiency working in Linux environments, including CentOS, Ubuntu, Fedora, Solaris, or BackTrack.
• Database experience writing complex queries and modifying schemas, such as with Oracle or MySQL.
• Experience in a cybersecurity role and configuring network devices.
