Cyber Data Analyst Engineer III

The opportunity

Responsibilities

• Help customers route log data through enterprise networks to designated destinations.
• Build and maintain log data collection pipelines using Cribl, ArcSight, Kafka, AWS products, Linux, and Microsoft servers.
• Build and maintain log data management environments using Elasticsearch or Sentinel.
• Troubleshoot SIEM data flow, display, and storage issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure product uptime.
• Maintain application, system, and product versions according to agency policies.
• Improve processes using scripts, Ansible, or AWS products.
• Document tasks, processes, changes, and product statuses.
• Provide team training and respond to customer inquiries.

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of enterprise LAN networking experience.
• 3+ years of Unix/Linux server administration or similar experience.
• 2+ years of Windows Server administration or similar experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Good oral and written communication, listening, and comprehension skills.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and experience on U.S. government contracts.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications within 120 days of hire.

Desired qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in WAN networking, Elasticsearch, Sentinel, Kafka, ArcSight, Kubernetes, Cribl, Ansible, scripting, or Git.
• Some on-call work may include nights and weekends, though it is very rare.

Pay range

• The proposed salary range is $86,600 to $181,800.
• Final salary may depend on location, contract labor categories, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications.
