Responsibilities
- Follow up on customs clearance procedures for all inbound and outbound shipments
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely clearance
- Review customs documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor shipment status until final customs release and delivery
- Liaise with relevant government authorities when required to facilitate customs processes
- Resolve customs related issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare periodic customs and logistics reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure smooth operational workflow
- Identify opportunities to improve customs clearance processes and reduce clearance lead times
