Role Description

  • The Customer Support Specialist is a part time, remote role responsible for providing responsive and professional support to clients using Operating Solutions WA services.
  • Day to day tasks include handling incoming inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, resolving customer issues, and providing information about operator availability, equipment capabilities, and safety procedures.
  • The role involves documenting support requests, tracking resolutions, and escalating technical or operational questions to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • The specialist will help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by managing expectations, clarifying job requirements, and ensuring clear communication regarding schedules, documentation, and compliance.
  • Collaboration with operations staff to coordinate bookings and follow up on completed jobs is also an important part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Support skills with a focus on Customer Satisfaction and service quality.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills, including clear, professional communication and relationship building.
  • Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to understand basic equipment related queries and guide customers to appropriate resources.
  • Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret customer needs, prioritize requests, and identify recurring issues.
  • Experience in construction, mining, industrial services, or equipment operations support is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple inquiries, and use ticketing or CRM systems effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role and a commitment to safety and compliance are preferred.
