Customer Service Representative

You will respond to customer inquiries and complaints related to work orders, shipments, and inventory counts, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.

You will act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for account administration and invoicing, generate and maintain paperwork for customer orders, and provide clerical support including scheduling and reporting.

Occasional travel by automobile and airplane may be required for business purposes.

• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints regarding work orders, shipments, and inventory counts.
• Report customer feedback to management and act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for account administration and invoicing.
• Generate and maintain all paperwork and information required for customer work orders, including tracking orders and updating inventory records.
• Verify computer-generated invoices to assure proper invoicing of accounts.
• Provide clerical support, such as overseeing paperwork associated with orders, maintaining files, answering phones, and greeting visitors.
• Schedule loads as required and maintain updated reports to ensure all loads are empty and closed.
• Resolve issues related to refused product, over short, and damaged orders.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Minimum 0 years of experience required in customer service or clerical support.
• Accurate typing and data entry skills required.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to operate desktop computers and office equipment required.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience adapting to changing work environments.
• Initiative in addressing new challenges.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience resolving complex customer issues.
• Understanding of customer product storage and handling requirements.
• Ability to collaborate and respond constructively to feedback.
• Familiarity with scheduling and inventory reporting systems.

• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.
• Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.
• Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others, verbally and/or in writing.
• May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
• May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.
• May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
