Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative builds and maintains customer relationships, communicates customer specifications to functional areas, and ensures airline inventory is timely and accurate.
The role reports to the Transport and Service Rep Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect meal counts and quantities and ensure boarded quantities match invoices.
- Sample meal tray setups, organize catering items by flight number, and complete flight checklists.
- Report product or equipment shortages to supervisors.
- Dispatch flights to drivers and loaders and support complete loading.
- Brief aircraft crew members on meal quantities and locations.
- Resolve catering-related issues for crew, ground staff, and drivers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least three years of customer service experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet ramp-access security clearance requirements.
- Ability to obtain the GTAA RAIC PASS and AVOP after hiring.
- Ability to work in 0 to 4 degree Celsius environments for the duration of a shift.
- Good communication, organization, multitasking, customer relations, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- The education section lists a bachelor's degree as required.
Employment and Pay
- Job type is full-time and permanent.
- Pay is $22.80 per hour.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person in an airport catering and ramp-access environment, including temperature-controlled areas and customer aircraft.
