Role overview
The Customer Development Manager will manage Colgate-Palmolive relationships with Menards and Jetro Cash and Carry.
The role is responsible for profitable sales growth, customer strategy, negotiations, forecasting, P&L, purchase order and service-level management.
Responsibilities
- Own sales objectives for volume, spending, and retail execution.
- Formulate and execute plans for volume, profitability, and customer service.
- Lead customer engagement, category relationships, and joint business planning.
- Manage customer-level P&L, baseline and promotional activity, trade spending, deductions, and ROI analysis.
- Apply Revenue Growth Management, demand planning, and forecasting to optimize service levels.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to build alignment and execute plans.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, category management, or similar roles.
- Strong experience with data and analytical tools.
- Understanding of P&L management.
- Experience with syndicated service account and loyalty data such as Nielsen or IRI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
