Project role
The Custom Software Engineer develops custom software solutions, designs and codes application components, and enhances systems using modern frameworks and agile practices.
The role is based at the Accenture Chennai office.
Roles and responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with or manage the team.
- Make team decisions, contribute to key decisions across multiple teams, and solve problems for immediate and broader teams.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve team efficiency and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for project alignment and timely delivery.
- Design and configure Salesforce applications that translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Professional and technical skills
- Salesforce Industries Communications Cloud proficiency is mandatory.
- Salesforce Lightning Web Components and Salesforce OmniStudio Platform experience are preferred.
- Strong Salesforce application design and configuration expertise is required.
- The role requires troubleshooting complex Salesforce issues and integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle best practices and agile methodologies is preferred.
