Job responsibilities
- Execute daily control checkpoints, client instructions, and query management with accuracy and timeliness.
- Escalate issues promptly to internal and external partners to drive resolution.
- Manage corporate actions queries as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
- Monitor accuracy rates, validate inputs, and investigate exceptions to prevent repeat issues.
- Review existing processes and implement improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
- Support team controls by monitoring risk and ensuring required checks and documentation are completed.
- Provide guidance and training to strengthen team capability and improve client experience.
- Partner with global custody, client service, product, and regional processing teams to improve service delivery.
- Support and implement digital tool initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Document and implement new or changed processes effectively in a changing environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in asset servicing supporting the India market.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate inputs and identify exceptions.
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgement, with the ability to make reliable decisions independently.
- Proactive approach to strengthening controls and driving process improvements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain risks and challenges clearly to stakeholders and management.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, tools, and changing priorities.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
