NWP's Continuing Education department is seeking a Curriculum Developer to support the design and development of a new training program for a special project. Working under the direction of the Continuing Education department and in consultation with subject matter experts (SMEs) and industry representatives, the Curriculum Developer will help translate program design into practical, teachable course materials. This role supports the development of high-quality, learner-centred curriculum using established institutional contract with OHS representatives.
Support program design activities, including pathway structure, course sequencing, delivery modes, and learning outcomes
Develop course outlines, lesson plans, learning activities, and supporting materials (e.g., assessments, workbooks, case studies, digital content)
Adapt curriculum for delivery across classroom, lab-based, and online formats
Apply accessible, learner-centred instructional approaches for diverse audiences
Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry advisors to ensure content is accurate and relevant
Use existing institutional tools and templates to support efficient, consistent program development

Minimum diploma in adult education, occupational health and safety (OHS), instructional design, or a related field; equivalent combined education and experience will be considered
