Curriculum Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DMNB and medical education staff and faculty to coordinate the curriculum.
• Develop schedules, ensure integration of units or rotations, and resolve conflicts in curriculum and clinical experience schedules.
• Serve as the primary administrative resource person for faculty and students regarding curriculum and clinical rotations.
• Ensure all curriculum material, documents, and clinical rotation information are in the schedule and released appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to procedures development by medical education. Coordinate, facilitate and supervise student examinations and review sessions.
• Produce reports of preliminary examination results for review. Identify successes, issues and offer recommendations from an administrative standpoint.

Required Qualifications

• Business/Office Administrative diploma with approximately five years’ related work experience preferably in a health professional education environment (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
• Excellent communication and organization skills required with the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to manage and organize workload, multitask and meet a variety of deadlines.
• Additionally, must be able to exercise initiative, work independently, and handle sensitive and confidential student issues with considerable tact.
• Proficiency with software packages, especially Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
