The CRM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting delivered and customized solutions within Creighton University’s CRM (Salesforce) platform.
The CRM Developer works closely with IT business analysts, project managers, technical team members and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
This role requires a strong understanding of CRM (Salesforce) best practices and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Customize Salesforce Applications: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. Create custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process builders to meet business requirements. Develop custom user interfaces using Visualforce and Lightning Web Components. Sustainably modify purchased applications as necessary to meet the needs of the organization.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Stakeholders: Participate in listening and requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs being captured by the Business Analyst. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents. Provide technical insights and recommendations during project planning and requirement analysis. Ensure that defined solutions fit within supported platforms and standards to avoid creating technical debt.
