Role Description
The Critical Facilities Manager at GRUPO CCHH SAC will be responsible for overseeing the reliable operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems, including power, cooling, security, and monitoring for data centers or other mission-critical environments.
This part-time, remote role involves coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, reviewing performance reports, and ensuring that all systems meet safety, compliance, and availability standards.
The Critical Facilities Manager will develop and update standard operating procedures, incident response plans, and maintenance schedules, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and optimize performance.
The role also includes tracking key performance indicators, managing documentation and asset inventories, and supporting budgeting and capacity planning for critical infrastructure.
The manager will participate in on-call rotations as needed to support incident management and service continuity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing critical facilities or mission-critical infrastructure (e.g., data centers, telecom sites, industrial plants) with strong understanding of power, HVAC, fire suppression, and security systems.
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and incident response protocols for critical environments.
- Ability to analyze system performance data, interpret technical reports, and make data-driven recommendations to improve reliability, uptime, and efficiency.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, including coordinating remote teams, negotiating service agreements, and ensuring timely delivery of maintenance and repair services.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a part-time, remote setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting, escalation, and cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices for critical facilities (such as redundancy, failover, and risk mitigation).
- Relevant technical degree or certification in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in critical operations will also be considered.
- Comfort working with digital tools and platforms (e.g., CMMS, ticketing systems, remote monitoring tools, and collaboration software) to manage operations remotely.
