Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain key systems such as cloud based platforms, data storage, and collaboration tools.
- Coordinate facility related vendors or service providers.
- Manage incident response procedures for outages or disruptions.
- Implement and update preventive maintenance schedules.
- Document processes and configurations.
- Support contingency planning to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and recommend improvements.

- Strong experience managing critical facilities and infrastructure, including preventive maintenance planning, incident response, and vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of building systems (e.g., power, HVAC, security, and access control) and their impact on operational resilience.
- Familiarity with digital infrastructure (e.g., cloud platforms, data storage, and collaboration tools) and ability to work effectively with technical teams.
- Demonstrated skills in risk assessment, business continuity planning, and developing or maintaining safety and compliance procedures.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to work across cultures and time zones.
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, operations, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Role Description
- The Critical Facilities Manager is a part time, remote role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational continuity of the organization’s critical digital and physical infrastructure.
- Day to day tasks include monitoring and maintaining key systems (such as cloud based platforms, data storage, and collaboration tools), coordinating facility related vendors or service providers, and managing incident response procedures for outages or disruptions.
- The role also involves implementing and updating preventive maintenance schedules, documenting processes and configurations, and supporting contingency planning to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Strong experience managing critical facilities and infrastructure, including preventive maintenance planning, incident response, and vendor coordination.
