Alabama State University, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences, invites applications to fill the full-time tenure-track Assistant, Associate, Full Professor of Criminal Justice position. Areas of specialization are open. Candidates should demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching, scholarly research, and service to community and/or profession, and the ability to secure external funding to establish and sustain research programs in their field of expertise. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and teach undergraduate level courses Engage in, produce, publish and present findings at professional conferences on issues related to criminal justice or other closely related criminal justice areas Serve on departmental, college and university committees Serve as academic advisor Maintain office hours Perform other duties as assigned
