Essentials of the role

Candidate requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience in risk management, finance, data analytics, credit risk, business management or a related discipline. Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, written communication skills and ability to work with data. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI, SQL, Python or business analysis experience would be desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Experience • 2-5 years' experience in Risk Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Credit Risk, Business Management or related disciplines. • Experience working with management reporting, data analysis or process improvement. • Banking or financial services experience desirable. Knowledge • Understanding of basic credit risk concepts and banking products. • Understanding of management information and reporting processes. • Awareness of governance and control environments. • Interest in portfolio management, sustainability risk and credit transformation. Skills • Analytical • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability. • Ability to work with large data sets and identify patterns. • Strong attention to detail. • Communication • Strong written communication skills. • Ability to prepare professional management materials. • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. • Delivery • Strong organisational skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities. • Continuous improvement mindset. • Desire to challenge existing processes and identify efficiencies. Qualifications • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or related discipline. • Relevant professional qualification desirable.
