Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Credit Investment Analyst to work on a contractor basis.

This role involves leveraging expertise in credit and debt investing to evaluate and analyze a broad range of credit instruments, including high yield bonds and leveraged loans.

Your work will contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems, enabling them to learn, reason, and perform effectively in the finance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze a broad range of credit instruments, including high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and other debt securities.
  • Apply deep knowledge of credit and debt investing to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the market.
  • Conduct cash flow analysis, covenant review, and capital structure analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain complex 3-statement models and LBO downside/stress-case models to assess default risk and recovery analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute investment opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in debt/credit investing, underwriting, and leveraged financing with a deep understanding of credit instruments and market trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and models.
  • Proficiency in cash flow analysis, covenant review, and capital structure analysis with a strong understanding of financial statement analysis.
  • Experience with LBO downside/stress-case models, default risk, and recovery analysis with a strong understanding of financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
