Credit Control & Accounts Executive

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer accounts and track invoices, due dates, payments, outstanding balances, and collection records.
• Follow up with customers on pending and overdue payments and review ageing reports for required action.
• Prepare account statements, invoices, and credit notes, and match incoming payments to customer invoices.
• Investigate differences between customer records, invoices, and payments.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to resolve billing and account issues.
• Review payment terms and credit limits and escalate significant or prolonged overdue balances.
• Assist with bank and customer account reconciliations, monthly closing, routine accounting, and finance documentation.

What We Are Looking For

• 3–5 years of practical experience in accounts receivable, credit control, collections, or general accounting.
• Experience handling customer accounts, outstanding balances, invoicing, payment allocation, reconciliations, and basic accounting.
• Professional customer communication, good follow-up and problem-solving skills, and accurate financial record keeping.
• Comfort with Excel, financial data, and accounting systems or ERP software.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet collection and accounting deadlines, work independently, and coordinate with departments.
• Previous UAE experience is an advantage.
• A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 3,200–AED 5,000 per month.
