About the Role
Pulsepoint Entertainment is seeking a Creative Lead to direct the development of physical entertainment experiences, including immersive attractions, themed environments, live events, interactive experiences, and location-based entertainment.
The role turns ideas and licensed intellectual property into physical experiences that guests can enter, interact with, and experience firsthand, from initial concept and storytelling through final execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction of physical entertainment projects and immersive attractions.
- Develop concepts for haunted houses, themed attractions, interactive experiences, cafés, pop-ups, live events, and other physical entertainment activations.
- Create guest journeys, storylines, environments, rooms, characters, set pieces, interactive elements, and experiences.
- Develop concepts into professional presentations, mood boards, references, floor plans, and creative briefs.
- Collaborate with 3D artists, architects, designers, fabricators, project managers, and production teams.
- Ensure concepts are creative and realistically buildable while considering space, guest flow, safety, operations, and production requirements.
- Lead creative development for projects involving major entertainment and consumer intellectual property.
- Work with licensing partners and IP owners to align physical experiences with creative and brand guidelines.
- Review 3D models, renders, set designs, props, costumes, signage, and theming throughout development.
- Participate in site visits, creative reviews, production meetings, and on-site implementation when required.
- Maintain the overall creative vision through construction, installation, testing, and opening.
What We’re Looking For
- A highly creative individual with a strong understanding of physical entertainment and experiential design.
- Ability to visualize how an idea will translate into an actual physical space.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, theming, guest experience, and immersive environments.
- Ability to develop ideas from a blank page and turn them into clear, detailed concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with designers, 3D artists, architects, production teams, and external partners.
