About the Role
SPIE Global Services Energy seeks a Crane Operator for a 1-year contract in Doha, Qatar. The role involves operating cranes offshore, conducting safety checks, and overseeing cargo transfers.

Responsibilities
- Act as Permit Performing Authority to ensure works are carried out per Permit to Work process
- Safely operate and maintain various crane types within safe working load limits
- Conduct daily routine and safety checks on cranes and equipment
- Work at height within operational limits of the crane
- Complete preventive maintenance work
- Optimize safe offloading and loading of cargo to/from supply vessels
- Oversee safe transfer of personnel to/from shuttle vessels
- Provide visible leadership to ensure safety targets are met
- Promote cost consciousness and incident free environment
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years offshore
- Valid Offshore Crane Operator Assessment Stage 3 from Enermech or Sparrow
- Higher secondary school education plus three year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent)
- Fluent in English

Job Description
- Crane Operator position within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha, Qatar.
- Fixed term contract for 1 year, full time.
Your Mission
- Act as Permit Performing Authority to ensure works are carried out per Permit to Work process.

Your Profile
- Minimum higher secondary school education plus three year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years offshore.
- Valid Offshore Crane Operator Assessment Stage 3 from Enermech or Sparrow.
- Fluent in English.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
