- Safely operate various types of cranes, ensuring precise and efficient lifting of materials on construction sites
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on cranes, identifying any mechanical issues or safety hazards before commencing work
- Collaborate closely with riggers and site supervisors to determine load specifications and movement plans
- Maintain clear communication with ground crew using hand signals or radios to ensure safe maneuvering of heavy loads
