Role Overview
Velora Delivery Services is seeking an experienced Courier Operations Manager to lead day-to-day delivery operations across the UAE.
The role covers drivers, motorcycle riders, dispatch, route planning, delivery performance, fleet utilization, customer service coordination, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily courier and last-mile delivery operations.
- Lead drivers, motorcycle riders, dispatchers, and operations supervisors.
- Plan manpower and vehicle allocation based on delivery volumes.
- Monitor pickups, deliveries, failed deliveries, returns, and rescheduled shipments.
- Optimize routes and monitor drivers through GPS and delivery management systems.
- Manage e-commerce, B2B, same-day, scheduled, and express delivery operations.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and HR.
- Manage COD procedures, fleet utilization, maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and driver compliance.
- Develop SOPs, recruit and train staff, analyze operational data, and prepare performance reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in courier, last-mile delivery, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation operations.
- Previous experience managing drivers and motorcycle riders.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads and delivery operations.
- Experience with dispatch, route optimization, GPS tracking, and delivery management systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, KPI, cost-control, Excel, and reporting skills.
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- A valid UAE driving licence and UAE courier or last-mile delivery experience are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000 per month.
