About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the Food Safety Management System across multiple factories
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, SFDA and GCC requirements
- Drive audit readiness and lead internal and external audits
- Manage CAPA closure, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity
- Standardise quality systems, governance routines, KPIs and procedures across sites
- Lead product quality, compliance, product release and incident management
- Act as key point of contact for regulatory bodies, certification bodies and external auditors
- Build a strong quality and food safety culture across factory teams
- Coach, develop and lead the Quality & Food Safety team
Requirements
- Strong Quality & Food Safety leadership experience within FMCG / food manufacturing
- Experience operating across a site, multi site or country level manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of FSMS, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000
- Experience with SFDA / GCC regulatory requirements
- Strong audit, compliance, supplier quality and continuous improvement experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field
- Lead Auditor or Food Safety certifications would be advantageous

Overview
- Alexander Steele is supporting a leading international food manufacturing business with the appointment of a Quality & Food Safety Head for its Saudi Arabian operations.
- This is a senior country level role responsible for leading the full Quality & Food Safety agenda across multiple manufacturing sites.
- The position will be based in Jeddah, with responsibility across Saudi operations and regular domestic travel.
The Role
- Leading the Food Safety Management System across multiple factories
