About the Opportunity
Lead the establishment of a major international infrastructure company's first UAE operation.
Serve as the first senior hire on the ground, build the organisation, deliver the first project, and position the company for regional expansion.
The role is a country-leadership mandate with responsibility for setting the team, government relationships, and delivery model.
Country Leadership Responsibilities
- Build and lead the UAE organisation across delivery, operations, engineering, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- Own relationships with road and transport authorities, municipalities, utilities, and other government stakeholders.
- Secure approvals, permitting, and NOCs.
- Deliver the first major project on programme and on budget.
- Set the delivery and operating model for future expansion.
- Identify and secure land, sites, and commercial arrangements for the programme.
- Represent the company to shareholders, partners, and government at the most senior level.
Required Experience
- 15+ years in infrastructure, tunnelling, metro, heavy civil, or large-scale construction.
