Responsibilities
- Meet with students and families to assess academic backgrounds, interests, and goals
- Provide tailored guidance on university admissions, career options, and study abroad pathways
- Conduct one on one counseling sessions
- Organize and deliver information sessions or workshops
- Support students with application forms, documentation, and scholarship opportunities
- Maintain accurate student records and follow up on progress
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure seamless advisory experience
- Stay updated on international and local education systems, admission requirements, and scholarship trends
Requirements
- Strong student advising and counseling skills
- Knowledge of university admissions processes, study abroad options, and scholarship pathways
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Comfort using computers and online platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Prior experience in academic counseling, student services, or educational consultancy strongly preferred
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse backgrounds; proficiency in English required
