About the Role
Egis Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Manager for its Engineering and Construction team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The role manages project costs, develops budgets, and maintains cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
The position collaborates with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver projects within approved financial parameters.
Cost Management Responsibilities
- Develop cost estimates and budgets for engineering and construction projects of varying complexity and scale.
- Monitor expenditures against approved budgets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare cost reports and financial forecasts for project stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies to support project decisions.
- Review change orders and assess their financial impact on project budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements with project teams.
Contracts, Systems, and Compliance
- Manage negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimize costs without compromising quality.
