Review tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities, and evaluate proposals while ensuring accuracy and managing risks.

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze tender drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope of works and tender requirements
- Perform accurate measurements and quantity take offs from 2D drawings and BIM models (Revit)
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all civil items in accordance with project specifications and standard methods of measurement
- Build comprehensive accurate cost estimates for each BOQ item
- Evaluate technical and commercial proposals from local and international subcontractors/vendors
- Identify commercial/technical risks in tender documents and propose suitable contingencies or value engineering options
- Maintain an up to date database of current market prices for standard materials
Requirements
- 5 10 years of experience in cost estimation for civil engineering projects
- Experience with tender drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Proficiency in quantity take offs from 2D drawings and BIM models (Revit)
- Ability to prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates
- Experience evaluating technical and commercial proposals from subcontractors/vendors
