Job description
Turner & Townsend is recruiting Cost Controllers and Cost Engineers for its Energy & Natural Resources division.
The role supports transmission and distribution clients and manages project costs across work packages and complex projects.
The Cost Controller works within an Integrated Project Team to support approved budgets, schedules, quality standards, and client objectives.
Key accountabilities
- Establish and maintain cost control processes, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Review contractor cost control processes and monitor actuals, commitments, accruals, completed work, and forecast final costs.
- Maintain contract and commitment registers and coordinate monthly and annual spend forecasts.
- Integrate financial and accounting data in enterprise and project systems.
- Support contracts, work orders, bid evaluations, cost estimates, and contractor payment validation.
- Produce integrated cost reports and provide reliable cost data for planning and decision-making.
- Support the Contract Manager and coordinate service requests through appropriate systems and processes.
