Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Cost Controller cum Store Keeper for factory operations.
The role covers cost control, inventory monitoring, material issuance and receiving, documentation, and daily storekeeping.
The position supports accurate inventory records, cost monitoring, and efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project and material costs and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Issue and receive materials with proper documentation and authorization.
- Prepare cost and inventory reports and reconcile records with Accounts.
- Monitor material consumption and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances.
- Store, organize, and safeguard materials and conduct stock checks and physical counts.
- Coordinate material requirements and stock movements with Production, Procurement, Projects, and Accounts.
- Maintain transaction documentation and comply with inventory and cost-control procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Store Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in cost control, inventory, storekeeping, or a similar role.
- Experience in a factory, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, material management, and cost reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or software-based inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
- Current availability in Qatar is preferred.

- Work location is in person in Doha.
