Role Purpose
The Cost Control Engineer will support Saudi Aramco-approved and other potential client projects.
The role monitors and controls project costs against approved budgets and provides timely forecasts and cost-performance information to project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project cost-control structures.
- Monitor budgets, commitments, actual expenditures, and forecast costs.
- Track purchase orders, subcontracts, manpower, equipment, and other project costs.
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts.
- Analyze budget variances and identify potential overruns.
- Maintain cost-to-complete and Estimate at Completion records.
- Coordinate cost information with procurement, finance, planning, and project management.
- Support change-order and variation cost assessments.
- Support cash-flow and project financial forecasting.
- Provide management with reliable cost-performance indicators.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of project cost-control experience is preferred.
- EPC or construction background is preferred.
