About the Role
Code Social is hiring a Cost Accounting Manager to lead cost accounting operations, inventory valuation, and financial analysis. The role requires 5+ years of cost accounting experience and expertise in ERP systems, with a focus on driving cost optimization and supporting strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost accounting policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and internal controls
- Lead product costing, standard costing, activity based costing (ABC), job costing, process costing, and inventory valuation activities
- Collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to provide accurate cost data and financial insights
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, inventory reconciliations, manufacturing variance analyses, and financial performance reports
- Analyze material, labor, overhead, production, and operational costs to identify cost saving opportunities and improve profitability
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including product margins, manufacturing costs, inventory turnover, cost variances, gross profit, operational efficiency, and budget performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, capital investment analysis, and business case development through detailed cost modeling and scenario analysis
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting, inventory reserves, stock reconciliations, physical inventory counts, and compliance with financial reporting requirements
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve cost controls, inventory management, production efficiency, and process optimization
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations
- Leverage ERP systems, cost accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, financial planning tools, and business intelligence platforms to automate reporting and improve financial visibility
- Prepare executive dashboards, profitability analyses, management reports, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent are highly advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting, manufacturing finance, financial analysis, or related roles
- At least 2 years of experience managing cost accounting functions, inventory accounting, or finance teams preferred
- Strong understanding of standard costing, activity based costing (ABC), inventory accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar financial platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, financial reporting software, cost accounting systems, and analytics tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain finance, inventory management, IFRS, GAAP, and audit practices is advantageous
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills
