The role focuses on cost accounting and production cost analysis in construction manufacturing plants.
Cost Accounting Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and monitor production costs and manufacturing expenses.
- Monitor and analyze cost variances and identify their causes.
- Prepare cost, production, and related management reports.
- Monitor raw material, labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
Product Costing and Analysis
- Prepare and review product costing to ensure accurate cost calculations.
- Analyze actual production costs against planned or standard costs.
- Prepare periodic cost reports to support management decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to monitor and control costs.
- Use accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to prepare and analyze financial and cost data.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 4 years of experience in cost accounting.
- Have hands-on experience in construction manufacturing plants.
- Have experience in production cost analysis, cost variance monitoring, and related reporting.
- Be proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
