Role Overview

The Corporate Security Manager will lead corporate security strategy, programs, operations, risk assessments, threat monitoring, incident response, executive protection, travel security, investigations, and security governance.

Strategy and Governance

Develop and implement corporate security strategy, frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, governance models, and operating principles.
Establish enterprise-wide security programs, annual plans, budgets, risk-reduction initiatives, capability roadmaps, performance objectives, accountability models, and escalation procedures.
Develop security requirements for new markets, facilities, relocations, acquisitions, projects, events, and major business initiatives.

Risk and Physical Security

Conduct enterprise-wide threat, vulnerability, country, city, site, event, and security risk assessments.
Maintain risk registers, threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, mitigation plans, corrective-action trackers, and security improvement roadmaps.
Establish layered security controls and standards for offices, stores, warehouses, distribution centers, project sites, executive locations, critical facilities, and other operating environments.
Coordinate access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarms, perimeter protection, security staffing, visitor management, keys, locks, and facility security.

Operations and Providers

Manage security control rooms, monitoring, guarding, patrols, incident response, security communications, escalation functions, operating procedures, post orders, and response protocols.
Manage guarding companies, consultants, monitoring providers, investigators, executive protection providers, travel-security providers, and other external partners.
Monitor third-party performance through inspections, audits, incident reviews, performance assessments, and management reviews.
Establish training and competency standards and ensure security personnel are trained, licensed, equipped, briefed, and supervised.

Intelligence and Travel Security

Develop threat intelligence and security monitoring capabilities covering geopolitical, crime, terrorism-related, civil unrest, public-health, environmental, infrastructure, and social risks.
Develop threat assessments, security advisories, alerts, executive briefings, travel warnings, location risk reports, situation updates, and early-warning mechanisms.
Establish country and location security profiles and assess security implications of market entry, expansion, relocation, major projects, and events.
Establish travel-security programs covering employee and executive travel, high-risk destinations, journey management, accommodation, transportation, and emergency support.

Candidate Requirements

Experience in corporate security, security management, physical security, executive protection, travel security, security operations, investigations, threat intelligence, crisis management, risk management, or related fields.
Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide corporate security programs.
Strong experience conducting threat, vulnerability, country, location, site, and enterprise security risk assessments.
Experience developing security policies, standards, governance frameworks, security plans, incident-response procedures, and crisis-management protocols.
Experience managing security operations, guarding companies, security consultants, technology providers, investigators, executive protection providers, and other third-party partners.
Experience developing threat intelligence, security monitoring, travel-security, incident investigation, and crisis-response programs.

Technical and Stakeholder Expertise

Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, alarms, intrusion detection, surveillance, visitor management, perimeter protection, and security monitoring.
Strong understanding of geopolitical, crime, terrorism-related, civil unrest, workplace violence, travel, infrastructure, and operational security risks.
Experience coordinating with police, civil defense, government agencies, emergency services, regulators, intelligence and security authorities, and other external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of business continuity, crisis management, emergency preparedness, resilience, and recovery planning.
Experience conducting executive or VIP threat assessments and developing protective-security arrangements where applicable.
