About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support end to end execution of M&A and strategic investment opportunities, including market screening, target identification, and outreach
- Build and maintain financial models (valuation, business plans, scenario analysis) to support investment decisions
- Conduct deep dive market research and competitive benchmarking across fintech, payments, and SME ecosystems
- Prepare high quality materials for senior management and board discussions, including investment memos and strategy decks
- Support fundraising activities by assisting in investor materials, data room preparation, and financial analysis
- Analyze internal performance data (GMV, cohorts, unit economics, lending portfolio) to generate actionable insights
- Assist in due diligence processes by coordinating workstreams, analyzing findings, and supporting deal execution
- Work closely with cross functional teams on key strategic initiatives and business cases
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and potential partners to identify new growth opportunities
Requirements
- Experience in financial modeling and valuation
- Experience in market research and competitive benchmarking
- Ability to prepare high quality materials for senior management and board discussions
- Experience supporting M&A or strategic investment processes
- Strong analytical and data driven decision making skills
- Knowledge of fintech, payments, or SME ecosystems is a plus

Role Summary
- The Corporate Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting HALA's strategic initiatives.
- Focuses on high impact analytical work, data assessment, market benchmarking, and support across M&A, fundraising and corporate deliverables.
