Corporate Controller - Finance

The Divisional Controller serves as the senior finance leader for the division and a trusted business partner to the VP Finance and Operations leadership.

This is a hands-on role is responsible for the financial stewardship of the division, including accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, inventory management, and operational performance analysis.

The successful candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen and manufacturing experience to drive profitability, improve operational performance, and support strategic growth initiatives.

• Complete month-end processing and closing procedures and lead preparation of financial statements and supporting information
• Ensure all month-end activities are completed in a timely manner
• Responsible for financial analysis, explaining the results and comparable metrics (ie. Prior year, budgets, forecasts)
• Oversee daily accounting activities to maintain general ledger and sub-ledger records and produce accurate financial reporting results
• Prepare and review monthly general ledger reconciliations
• Improve control procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls to safeguard financial assets (ie. inventory management, AR, AP, fixed assets, etc.)
• Drive finance and accounting process improvements through Continuous Improvement initiatives (ie. ERP optimization, reporting automation, process standardization, digitization, data analytics)
