Responsibilities
- Write platform native copy in Arabic (Saudi localized) and English hooks, captions, CTAs, headlines, brand storytelling.
- Lead transcreation: adapt campaign concepts across languages without losing intent or cultural resonance.
- Own editorial quality and tone of voice across all written outputs.
- Produce reactive and planned content at newsroom pace.
- Work tightly with social strategist, social media manager, and creative director.
- Manage rapid turn briefs and content calendars while maintaining brand integrity.
- Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and drafting; develop bilingual prompting techniques.
- Edit, optimize, and localize AI outputs for brand voice and Saudi/GCC relevance.
- Define and enforce quality control processes for AI assisted writing.
- Stay current on GCC cultural trends, platform shifts, and audience behavior.
- Apply performance data to iterate copy approaches and improve effectiveness.
- Contribute to competitive/cultural analysis to identify creative opportunities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional copywriting experience with social first studio or agency experience
- Strong bilingual portfolio (Arabic and English) showing platform native social work
- Arabic: Saudi national or deeply localized to Saudi Arabia; native or near native proficiency
- English: Advanced written and spoken proficiency
- Proven ability to work at pace managing multiple briefs
- Demonstrable transcreation expertise
- Platform fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, YouTube Shorts
- Strong editorial judgement and impeccable bilingual grammar
- Familiarity with social studio tools and GCC regulatory standards

Role Overview
- OLIVER is the world's first specialist in designing in house agencies for brands.
- This role is for a Copywriter (Social) based in Saudi Arabia (Remote).
- You will write across formats, always mindful of platform form, audience behavior, and GCC cultural context.
