Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Copywriter to help drive the next phase of growth for our content offering.
This role is suited to someone who can deliver high-quality, SEO-led copy across multiple formats, support commercial objectives, and elevate the standard of written output across the agency.
The ideal candidate will bring proven results in SEO writing, strong experience in website copy and press release writing, and the ability to adapt tone and structure across industries and audiences.
Experience leveraging AI writing tools to enhance content quality, efficiency, and performance is highly desirable.
Experience in scriptwriting is a strong advantage.
Copywriting & Content Delivery
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy across multiple formats, including:
- Website copy (service pages, landing pages, brand messaging)
- SEO-led blogs and long-form content with measurable performance
- Press releases and media-facing content
- Thought leadership articles and opinion pieces
- Credentials, awards submissions, and corporate content
- Scripts for video, social content, podcasts or presentations (where required)
- Adapt tone of voice for different clients, sectors and audiences while maintaining brand consistency
- Edit, refine, and elevate copy produced by other team members where needed
- **Utilise AI writing tools to support ideation, drafting, editing, and optimisation while ensuring originality, accuracy, and brand alignment**
Seo & Performance-Led Writing
- Produce SEO-driven content using keyword research, search intent, and best-practice optimisation
- Work closely with SEO and digital teams to align content with performance goals
- Track and report on content performance, demonstrating tangible results such as ranking improvements, traffic growth or engagement uplift
- Optimise existing content to improve visibility and effectiveness
- **Leverage AI-assisted tools for keyword insights, content optimisation, and performance analysis**
Collaboration & Commercial Support
- Work closely with Account Managers, Executives, and Directors to support client objectives and upsell content services
- Contribute to content strategy discussions and client proposals
- Support new business pitches and credential development with strong written narratives
- Act as a senior content voice within the department, helping shape processes and standards alongside the Head of Content
- **Advocate for and implement best practices in AI-assisted content workflows within the team**
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a copywriting or content role (agency experience preferred)
- Proven experience in SEO writing with demonstrable results
- Strong background in website copywriting and press release writing
- Excellent written English, with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality
- Confidence working across different industries and client types
- **Hands-on experience using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) to enhance content creation and productivity**
Desirable Experience
- Scriptwriting experience for video, social or audio content
- Experience contributing to awards submissions and credentials
- Familiarity with analytics tools and content performance reporting
- Understanding of PR, brand storytelling, and integrated communications
- **Experience developing or refining AI-assisted content workflows, prompts, or guidelines**
