Coordinator – Performance Management and Enhanced TIA

• Performs all job-related duties as assigned and in accordance with Board rules, policies, and regulations. All employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare situations driven by need where a team effort is required.

• Knowledge of state and federal requirements, District policies, and procedures related to educator appraisal, employee evaluation, confidentiality, records management, data privacy, and TIA compensation systems.
• Knowledge of T-TESS, T-PESS, counselor appraisal systems, central office evaluation systems, and performance management practices.
• Knowledge of Teacher Incentive Allotment requirements, local designation systems, data validation procedures, student growth measures, observation data, and state submission requirements.
• Skill in coordinating implementation of performance management and Enhanced TIA initiatives.
• Skill in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting appraisal, student growth, staffing, compensation, and performance data.
• Skill in developing reports, dashboards, monitoring tools, and implementation tracking systems.
• Skill in delivering professional learning, technical assistance, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
• Skill in managing projects, timelines, compliance requirements, and multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Skill in ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, customer service, and execution.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with campus leaders, central office staff, governmental agencies, vendors, researchers, and external partners.
• Ability to lead organizational change, modernize systems and processes, and implement innovative technologies that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and access to information.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions with a wide range of stakeholders and build consensus around data-informed decisions.
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Office applications, data visualization platforms, appraisal systems, student information systems, and human capital management systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with campus and district leaders, state agencies, vendors, and external partners.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail when managing sensitive information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting critical deadlines and performance expectations.

• Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

• Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.
• Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
• Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
• Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
• Environment: Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours.
• Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
• Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required . Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• Certification/License: Valid Texas Teaching Certification preferred. T-TESS and/or T-PESS appraiser certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in educator evaluation, performance management, teacher or leader development, human capital systems, accountability, data analysis, or campus- or district-level instructional leadership required.
• Successful and verifiable track record in coordinating projects, implementation efforts, timelines, or cross-functional initiatives required.
• Experience supporting or implementing T-TESS, T-PESS, educator appraisal systems, or employee performance management processes preferred.
• Experience utilizing performance data, student growth measures, appraisal evidence, or related accountability indicators preferred.
• Experience supporting Teacher Incentive Allotment, strategic compensation systems, educator effectiveness initiatives, or related programs preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering professional learning and technical assistance preferred.
