About the role
The Coordinator, Alumni Relations provides oversight and support for regional events and alumni engagement efforts.
The role supports the administrative, financial, and engagement functions of the Alumni Relations Office.
The team works in a hybrid model, with 50% or more of the role spent in person at the Burnaby campus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the alumni Helpdesk and stewardship of affinity, discount, and community partnerships.
- Administer alumni event and sponsorship finances, including revenue and budget tracking, vendor payments, and invoicing.
- Manage alumni-related data and records.
- Support initiatives that advance Advancement and Alumni Engagement's strategic priorities.
- Serve as a front-line representative for Alumni Relations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Arts, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Two years of related experience, including work with Indigenous and multicultural groups, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, organisational, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent budget management, financial administration, oral communication, and written communication skills.
