Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain filing systems.
  • Create and type office correspondence using a computer.
  • Distribute and send correspondence.
  • Order and track supplies and forms for the HR office.
  • Answer telephone calls and record messages.
  • Create personnel files for new employees.
  • Assist incoming candidates with application procedures.
  • Maintain the designated application completion space clean and accessible.
  • Respond to employee and management questions regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Inform HR management of employee relations issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and hotel records.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I 9 forms).

Desired Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory experience: None required.
  • License or certification: None.
