We are looking for a Cook specializing in South Indian (Kerala authentic taste) cuisine to prepare food as per client specifications and Head Chef advice. The role involves checking food quality, managing kitchen supplies, and ensuring timely supply of prepared food.

- Prepare South Indian (Kerala authentic taste) food as per client specifications and Head Chef advice
- Check food quality, presentation, and service as per required standards
- Liaise with Head Chef to discuss day to day operational requirements
- Prepare daily section requisition for next day's kitchen supplies
- Ensure food is prepared as per planned menu and instructions
- Ensure smooth and timely supply of prepared/cooked food to all concerned units
- Ensure wastage control measures are in place
- Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are in working order
- Attend toolbox and other training events

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare the SOUTH INDIAN (KERALA AUTHENTIC TASTE SPECIFICALLY) food as per client specifications and Head chef advice.
- Check the food quality, presentation, and service as per the required standards, defined by the Head chef.
- Liaise with the Head Chef to discuss day to day operational requirements, achievements, and improvements and take necessary action accordingly.
- Prepare daily section requisition for the next day’s kitchen supplies considering forecasted man days, menus tock in balance in the kitchen, and available items in stores.
- Ensure that the food is prepared as per the planned menu and in line with the instructions received from the Head chef.
- Ensure smooth and timely supply of prepared/cooked food to all concerned units.
- Ensures that wastage control measures are in place.
- Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are in working order and inform malfunctions if any to the concerned department.
- Attend toolbox and other training event to enhance knowledge about various aspects of cook’s job.
- Perform any other task assigned by his superior within the scope of the job.
Compensation
- Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
