The position is for a private house cook.
The role is based at a private residence in Dubai.
Key Duties
- Prepare daily meals for the family according to their preferences and requirements.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as required.
- Prepare a variety of cuisines and adjust dishes to individual preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.
- Purchase or coordinate grocery and kitchen requirements as instructed.
- Store food properly and monitor freshness and expiry dates.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and cooking areas in clean condition.
- Plan daily menus and manage ingredients to avoid unnecessary waste.
- Prepare meals for guests and family gatherings when required.
- Follow household instructions regarding food preferences, allergies, and dietary requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family and household.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a private cook or household cook is preferred.
- Good knowledge of different cuisines and cooking methods.
- Clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen practices.
- Ability to manage meals independently.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and responsible conduct.
- References from previous employers are preferred.
