Cook (Part Time)

We support both adult and youth divisions, providing a client-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed, and holistic approach to individuals recovering from substance misuse with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to transforming lives.. Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, the Cook is responsible for ensuring that clients receive meals and snacks as dictated by the menu. The Cook will endeavor to provide clients with a positive dining experience. The Cook will make certain that groceries and other necessities are available as determined by the menu. The Cook plays a vital part in supporting the health and wellbeing of clients.

This position is responsible for the duties listed below:

Provide three meals and two-three snacks daily for up to 30 clients.

Purchase, organize, and rotate food supplies following the first in, first out rule.

Maintain an orderly and clean kitchen, adhering to cleaning and sanitizing requirements.

Follow the Food Safety Plan, catering to clients' special dietary needs and preferences.
