Role Overview
Nido Coburg is seeking a Cook for a part-time position working one day per week on Fridays.
The Cook prepares meals for children and contributes to healthy eating habits.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using Nido menus.
- Purchase food and kitchen supplies when required.
- Support dietary and allergy requirements for every child.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
What You’ll Bring
- A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required.
- Experience in a childcare or aged care setting is required.
- A valid Working with Children Check is required.
- Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements is required.
- Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery is desirable.
- National Child Safety Training must be completed or obtained before employment where applicable.
