Position Summary

Kitchen Duties

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing food items.
• Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine whether they have been cooked sufficiently.
• Set up and break down the work station.
• Wash and disinfect the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check and ensure the correctness of appliance and food temperatures.

Safety and Teamwork

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Communicate clearly and professionally and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Support the team in reaching common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Schedule and Workplace

• The position is full time.
• The position is not remote and is based at the listed Jeddah location.
