- Review production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to produce daily
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists
- Maintain kitchen logs to comply with food safety program
- Inform chef of excess food items for daily specials planning
- Use kitchen tools, equipment, and measuring devices safely and appropriately
- Ensure compliance with food handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
- Check and ensure kitchen appliances and food are at proper temperatures
- Monitor quality of prepared food and portions throughout shift
Requirements
- Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) without assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
